Would a Pilot VA be an upgrade for a E99?

I have an E99 and wanted to know if the Pilot VA would be an upgrade for the E99? I was also think of going LP and thought if I drilled on the Pilot VA and did something wrong it would not be as bad if I did it to the Stock one.

well I pilot va has those weird things instead instead of threads
so if ur planning to attach a reg to the pilot va you'll be sol
just use the pilot va to practice on then when you're comfortable drill out the other one
