No..you arent correct.

HPA can be use on most guns, except angels. Everything else is able to accept HPA. thats what the reg is for...to regulate the air .;)

Buy HP. The only reason LP exists is for Angel Miniregs.

^^^^Which hasn't been the case since the 04 Speed models, if I remember correctly. There isn't a newer gun out there, or one within the last 3 years that I can think of off the top of my head that HAS to have an LP tank.

You're much better off getting an HP tank - the HPR and LPR on your gun will regulate the pressure down to the correct psi needed for your gun. Kind of a "plug and play" no need to think about it thing anymore...

Yes, they were made because of angel regs but correct me if I'm wrong.

Most high ends like timmys, egos etc. run at around 200psi right, well I've heard that you can use LP tanks with them and they will work just fine because the output is around 450psi on the tank and you dont need 850psi or whatever HP tank run at.

Please correct me if I am wrong

They will run perfectly fine on a low pressure tank. However, once the pressure output of the reg falls below the pressure required to run the gun, you can have recharge problems. It's better just to get an HP tank...

By the way, my Rail runs at about 140 - 150 psi and I believe my Spimmy is a bit below that as well...most of the "high end" guns these days are much lower than 200 psi anymore. :)
