Lots of companies have paint that fits in both categories. Most of the higher end paint manufacturers have a "white box" that are usually seconds, or their practice paint. For instance, Diablo has Formula 13 and Midnight as their higher end paint, and Heat for their lower end. Nelson has Hemorrhage as their higher end, while Nelsplat is their lower end. PMI goes from low end (stingers) to high end (Premium and Marbelizer...) You get the picture!

Personally, the trick is to find paint that is priced resonably that shoots really well through your guns - for me that was Premium (pink fill, of course! :) ) Formula 13 and Xball. I like higher end paint, personally.

Cheaper paint - which wasn't much cheaper when you figured up the cost - was stuff I got from Wal-Mart way back when - Dusk and Scorch (now it's Visible Impact, I believe.)
