Anyone here know any good techno bands? As in no vocals just straight up techno? Won of my friends has a good techno band, but he doesn't have a cd yet. Anything I should look into?........

who me? i like techno sometimes, anything that has a good beat that i can drive to is fine... i hate whiney/mushy songs... that bothers me, cuz if life sucks so much why dont you stop writitng the m/fing song and go make life worth while. so basically i hate all country songs, especailly that sky diving one... ive touched electrical lines on purpose on multiple occasions to that song.

Ziggy X is really good... my favorite.

DJ tiesto, darude (sandstorm), and DJ darkzone are also good ones.

definately look up Ziggy X though. especially "x rulez," "thiz rox," "high speed flash," and "bassdusche"

yeah, techno is excellent for pumping you up. i always used to listen to it before tournies, and even during tournies if we could remember to bring a CD player, and also during practices.

oh yeah, another good pump-you-up song is the mortal combat theme song.

let's see-

theres a thousand types of techno, and industiral music seems to be coinciding with it, hardcores style now, becoming more electronic then rock now....

therefore: Dark/ gothic techno- try some of skinny puppy's new stuff

Rave- Ravers Fantasy by Tune Up

Trance- Just be, DJ Tiesto. Is this Love, Terra Skye

Happy HardCore- Ombibus, Laut Sprecher

and there a thousand other sub groups in electronic, i just hate thinkinng hard just to seperate them...
other songs:

Miracle, Cascada
Surrender, Lasgo
4 o clock in the morning,Lazard
Damaged, Plummet
Obscura, Out of grace
Somthing, Lasgo
Feel the Beat, Darude

ect, ect...

go to my myspace and I can sample some for you if you want.

oh didn't read the first message.. no techno 'band' is going to have pure vocal free stuff all around, i mean if they don't, they just suck then. try irritating stick

Ya' doesn't "really" matter vocals or not. Just wanted to see what would pop up. The stuff you said though is pretty good

Yep, already love the postal service. I especially like 'em when I'm trying to fall asleep. But martian's right though, there more keyboardish than techno
