Hey guys,
I just thought I'd show you what I got opening day of bow season 07.
He obviously isn't the bigest out there, infact I just saw a NICE 9 point out there last night behind my stand but I was a little mad that it wasn't gun season yet:mad: because he was at 100 yards. If I would have had my new Tompson Center Omega out there he would be hanging in my garage right now.

wow, thats a nice mulie. my dad hasnt been able to get anything this year, but late at night we see all kinds of deer on the side of the road... one night my friends and i were coming back on post and there were 3 whitetail bucks on the side of the road, a 6x6 with at least a 20 inch spread, a 5x5 and a 4x4. i want to go out this year, but i need all new camo, my tags, and i need to sight in my dads bow, but he's being a PITA about it.

last week while my dad's basic training privates were at the machine gun range, a really young doe walked behind the targets and got hit by 2 stray rounds. so after the police came by and filled out a certificate of death, my dad got to keep it. i have pics of the skinning and quartering, but didnt want to post them in case i offend anyone.

Sometimes I wish I had an internet shotgun that would stick out of peoples monitors and scare the proper grammer out of them... or at least make them READ what they just typed and make it somewhat sensible before they click that little 'Post' button. :dodgy:

My friends girlfriend needs to be slapped for her internet grammer, punctuation, spelling, and lazyness... ...or should I say lack of the previously stated.

Oh, and I'm still sort of scared of that deers photogenic-ability-ness... ...or something...

lol, you should get together with my ex... it used to annoy the crap out of her when i first started talking to her on AIM.

then again, improper grammar and punctuation cant really be blamed on one thing. ppl message each other all teh time and want 2 get there thots across real quick liek. so when they come to the forum, i guess it naturally transfers over. i used to do it too, now i just dont mess with capitals because i hate reaching over to the shift key, unless im typing a vike-length essay.

I'll have to dredge up some pick's of our last wild pig hunt. The deer hear in CA. are dismal to say the least but we have some decent pigs.

I'm almost positive laying a recently fired (and possibly still loaded) rifle down so that the barrel is facing your chest is not in the gun safety handbook.

also wtf is this "attach feature" it makes it so I can't quote pictars.

I saw that too but the bolt is open so unless an extra long firing pin is included - he's safe.

I have to say my most unique hunting experience had to be the winter I went falcon-hunting in Texas. No, you don't hunt the falcons, you use them to hunt. Basically, the dogs charge a pond full of ducks, and a falcon you've already let out will dive-bomb one, knock it out cold, and then catch it before it hits the water. The falcons have trackers on their legs and are trained to not fly very far away with it, although they will start to eat it if you are too slow.

we have deer next to our house every night and it kills my dad because he hardly sees anything when he goes out. one night my youngest brother and i went outside for about 45 minutes stalking deer with my mom's camera. we got a good picture of a 6 point under the street lamp, but the memory card screwed up and had to be reformatted.

there is a big 12 point buck calling the couple quarter sections around my house home. I have seen him without my gun lol

Oscum Guy
11-19-2007, 06:37 PM
there is a monster 10 point near where i hunt alot... but ive only shot one deer before lol, so ill basically shoot anything.

something we say at deer camp is "if it walks or flies, it dies"

and my dad's friend is one of the camera dudes and hunters for a show "big horn outdoors", so if i shot that 6 point i could have been on t.v.
