New 07 Sonix

I have a brand new 07 Sonix that the velicity can't be adjusted below 300f/s. I know how it works and how to adjust it. My brother-in-law bought his the same time I did and I can adjust his just fine.

Has anyone else have this problem? Is the main spring just too long? Secondary spring too weak? Or is there a different problem? I did order a a/m spring kit. Just need to get home next week and try it out.

just dry fire it for a bit with the adjuster all the way in

In the meantime you could leave it cocked which can weaken the spring and bring the velocity down. Another option is to cut the spring but not everyone is a fan of that. Seeing as how you have the spring kit coming I don't see a problem with either one. One thing to note is that if you cut the spring, go slowly (i.e. about a 1/4 of a coil at a time).
