Well first off heres what I'm starting with.
04 imagine
ndz clamping feedneck
12" boomy
Mech frame

I want to add a little jazz to it. I'm getting a reverse trinity block, 9pc spring set and a maddman rocket valve later this week. I plan to put an e-frame on it with some type of board. I'm not sure if I want to change the barrel or not, but wont be anytime soon.

What I need help finding is a place where I can get my body half backed. I've asked around and couldn't find anyone. So, if anyone knows someone who can do it I'd appreciate it.

I also needed help what reg would work good on this. I want a reg that can still output a good amount of pressure. Any ideas would be helpful.

Let me know what ya think.

evil detonator for the reg. def.

for the halfback, do it youself, seriously hacksaw files and sand paper, then do a mid block type ting like put a slot as far forward as the slot in the middle and use a timmy bolt or one of the new spyder pull pin bolts.

I would go with a Palmer Stabilizer. They're more money but in my opinion the quality makes up for it. I believe it goes up to 800 psi and works with CO2 and HPA.

Do you Co2 or HPA? If you use Co2, a Torpedo or Palmer's would be your best bet for a regulator. If you have HPA, those two regs or a CP, Hyper II or any other upper leve reg would be a good bet for consistancy and fast recharge. In my experience, the Evil Detonator is just sort of meh in those categories...

If you put a Maddman Rocket valve in there, you're going to have to take it down in pressure quite a bit since it's made for low pressure operation. Any of those regs up there, along with the spring kit you mentioned, would do the job nicely. However, if you go that route, you'll definitely need a new barrel with MUCH less porting.

Half backing can be done by you, but why? Other than looks, and the removal of some weight, it's pretty much done to death. The block is also personal preference.

Either way, you have a good start. Good luck with it all!

evil detonator oscum?! wtf... that reg is gross. cp ftw.

I'll be using hpa, vike.

and thanks for the input. I'm not trying to make the pressure so low that it reaches the VS2/3 but just lowers the rpessure enough to reduce some kick.

You might want to look at a different valve then, the Maddmann valve is made for very low pressure. Bandit makes a good one, and...I think New Designz makes one too.

I think I may get a detonator.

Mine will look similar to that, oscum. getting the reverse trinity block then everything else. :p

nice, that pilot rips like no other spyder ive shot with a tboard. should get some internal upgrades for it but w/e. i could even put on a spare imagine body i have thats like yours so we could be gun buddies :dodgy:

hmm, it might actually look better with the imagine body.

Well vike recommended i get another one because it has a lot of porting. and its also the weight of like...a halo.

I only recommend getting a different barrel IF you're going low pressure, which is what I thought you were doing with the Maddman Rocket Valve. If not, then that barrel will be just fine - heavy, but fine.

Ya I'm probably going LP now. I'll look around at barrels. Had a co2 tank question..just in case anyone can help.
