Went downstairs today to see that the side door on the garage was cracked open, its always been left unlocked and didn't really think anything of it, just thought my dad went in before he left for work but went out to shut it b/c my dog will push it open then she will get stuck in the garage b/c it will close again. Anyways I went out and noticed the light was on over my workbench which was rather odd, walked over to turn it off and see a bunch of stuff was missing off the top of my workbench. I called my dad to see if he barrowed some tools from work or something like that, nope somebody jacked them. Looked around to see what was missing so far this is the list:
-a bunch of misc tools (ones i use the most since they were laying on top instead of in my tool cart)
-misc motocross gear
-misc airbrush paint, of course they grab the expensive candy colors from house of kolor
-BRAND NEW SHEET OF CARBON FIBER I JUST PICKED UP YESTERDAY FOR TRIGGERS:angry::mad: ($215 by itself, custom made to my specs)
I am rather pissed off right now, mostly about my tools and the sheet of carbon fiber that i had to wait two weeks to get and just picked up yesterday.
Now i guess I will see what insurance will cover and what I am going to get screwed on.
damn thats ****ed up, i hate theives, especially the ones that have the nerve to walk into someones elses house,
gl catching the guy or getting insurance to cover you, i'd hurt some for my tools, i had the same thing happen to me a while back, i left all my tools in the back of my car, and someone came that night and took them all, they took about $2000 worth of car and carpenter tools. the good **** too,

Sorry man... That sucks. Post up what tools were stolen so we can keep an eye out on EBay etc.

This sucks, I don't even really want my stuff back now that they have had it, might seem weird but to me it will never feel like mine again. Insurance is saying there so much of a grace period for time to recover the stolen stuff, in the mean time i have to try and find proof of ownership for everything that is now gone, which i don't even have a receipt or pics of the carbon fiber b/c i got it from a company that normally doesn't sell to the public. I guess I will have to see what the out come is from the insurance and everything.
Keep a eye out for a 12" x 16" x 1/4" thick sheet of carbon fiber.
Key point on it to look for:
- measurements (12" x 16" x 1/4")
-overall look, extremely high quality, flawless tops (no pitting or lump or anything like that) you can see the pattern on the side unlike the normal black finish, matte finish all around
- small sticker on the front in the following format:
has faint image of a tactical truck in the background
ex of what the sheet will look like including side edge:

Damn man that's messed up. To be honest I was expecting you to say your gearbag got swiped. Well all I can say is whoever took it probably lives around your neighborhood. So keep an eye out when your walkin your dog. I feal for the retard who took it cus if you see one of your tools he better be ready to throw down.

If I were to break into a garage and saw a sheet of black looking plastic stuff, that's the first thing I'd take. The airbrush paint would definately be second choice. I see this criminal thinks just like me.....or is it the other way around? -
Sry......I'm just a bit tipsy this morning and typing ga-ga....woot shu-ba-da-du-madda-dow! - < See what I mean?

I hate theives so much, thats major b.s. i wish i was in the CIA or sumthin so i could find them and kick there ass, now im scared for my garage my side door has a broken lock and a window and the people we bought this house from made a super major break in proof system, the scrwed in to hooks (for like hanging bikes) on each side and put a 2X6 in front of the door wich u could break the window and move it... and they said one person already tried to rob their house, through that door! But i hope he gets caught on another crime spree and u get ur stuff back

I hate to bring it up, but who in your neighborhood knew you were getting this sheet of CF? Also, who on the various forums you go on are local to you and know where you live? Like I said, I hate to bring it up, but the timing is just too convenient for my taste. I think they were after the CF and took the other stuff purely because it would be easy to take, and easy to pawn.

You probably have a large chance of getting the carbon fiber back. Make sure to check with all the pawn shops around your area. Carbon fiber doesn't just pop up every day... especially that nice. If they try to sell it, they're screwed. (I assume you already reported it to the cops, which will be checked out at the pawnshops before being sold... providing the pawn brokers are legit and not selling stuff off before the cops can check it out/the week they are required to hold the item before selling)
As previously stated, it's probably someone in the town/neighborhood... so keep an eye open for suspicious activity.
