Air system upgrade question

Hey, guys got a question for you.

Air system wise, my MR2 is stock. I'm thinking about getting a remote, regulator & an on/off (to help preserve my o-rings for a longer time). I was hoping you guys might have some suggestions.

I'd like to have the regulator attached to the remote so that I can remove the remote and attach the tank to the on/off directly for X-ball, and attach the remote so I have everything for woodsball.

I was thinking of having everything hooked up like:
ASA -> On/off -> Regulator -> Remote -> Tank

I've heard that the Bob Long reg & the 'torpedo' reg are good (btw I've got a 68/4500 HPA tank). But I don't think they'll attach they way I want.

I've seen remotes with 'quick disconnect' & 'slide checks'. What do they do?

You could take this (http://www.palmer-pursuit.com/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=8_9_28&products_id=175) reg, screw it onto you tank. Run the remote into an asa to 1/8 npt adapter into your choice of on-off asa

Oldironmudder makes a VERY good point and thats what you should do. I'll throw my idea out, you could do that or you could just buy a reg and get a qick disconnect from a remote and then you would just screw in the reg connect your remote and your good, then you can always take your reg out if you want.
