I went to chrono my gun yesterday.

The first shot read 350
2nd shot 220
3rd shot 300
4th shot 280
5th shot 212
6th shot 220
7th shot 275
8th shot 310

I didn't change the velocity at all during those shots.
After that I got a ref to help me and he got it to 280 but about 20 shots later it went up to 310.......
Any reccomendations on what to do?

Are u using co2? If so change to hpa. Give us an idea of ur setup so we can help u out more.

I tried co2 and hpa they both bounced around but hpa wasn't as much.

How long have u had ur marker? U need to allow a break in period for most new guns.

polish the valve pin, the little hole the pin rides in on the valve and the sealing face of the valve.

I have had my marker for a month and a half. I don't want a regulator but I will try to polish it and see if it helps the next time I go to a field.

that will reduce the friction between the moving parts and the inasides of the marker
you won't get any constancy from a stock spyder

my AMP does
281
268
275
290
285
261
usually stays within 20fps
And I haven't polished the valve yet and the spring has only seen 1 case when i have the cash i plan on buying a old vert maxflo for it or if i cant find one separate ill just say **** it and buy a slightly upped vision impulse for cheap.

Have you tried simply cleaning and lubing everything?

Also type of chrono are you using?

Yes everything was freshly lubed and not overlubed.
I don't know what kind of chrono it was. It was red and set up on a table. It's the one most paintball fields have.

Are you using fresh paint? Old paint will also cause velocity fluctuation.

I don't know. I was using the fields premiums.
