Is the Xtra able to hpa or only co2. I am just so sick of having to sit out of a game because my gun freezes up. When I shoot faster than 15 a second with the rocking trigger, my gun has to sit for about 20 min before its ok again.....

Yes, like all Spyders (besides vs2-3) you can run them on either and will be better for your gun. It has a higher recharge rate than co2 meaning it airs up faster so you can shoot faster and the best part is....No liquid CO2!!

Well I know no liquid co2. My brother has been running hpa on his ion and he has a 72ci 3,000 psi aluminum tank. Should I just take that when he gets a carbon fibur tank or should I get a 4,500 psi 68ci for $150 at my local pb store?

I would probly buy the carbon tank but if you are just starting steely tanks are great to start out with

Now I don't know if I should spend the money on the tank or get a nice hammerhead kit?

I'd get a nice berrel kit, never used the Hammer head barrels
Nice kits
Performance:
-Freak (http://www.zephyrpaintball.com/product/PB-SP-FREAK14/Smart_Parts_Full_Freak_Barrel_Kit_14%22.html)
-Kaner (http://www.doropaintball.com/ab1038101equick/shopexd.asp?id=9016)
Budget:
-Freak Jr. (http://www.zephyrpaintball.com/product/PB-SP-FRKJRSPY/Smart_Parts_Freak_Junior_Spyder_Barrel_-_14_Inch_-_Black.html)
-Evil Pipe (http://www.discountpaintball.com/evil-pipe-barrel-kit-for-piranharebelspyder-14-all-black-p-618.html)-expensive here usually runs $50

I've heard that the Sceptor kit is good but never used it so wouldnt know. As for the Freak if you ask me I'd get the Freak Jr. Its practicaly the same kit and it only comes with 3 inserts (I believe you only need 3) One for small bore paint, one for regular day normal size paint and a bigger one for those humid days when paint swels (sp?)

Ok thanks for the help. I am going to get a hammer head and a kit and then a little bit later I'll get the tank.
