my dad just bought a cp reg for me for my birthday but that doesnt matter anyways at the bottom of it theres no macro line insert and when i look online they come with that, where can i get one or will i have to buy a 90 degree fitting... or straight...

fair warning though...you need the STRAIGHT fitting...NOT a 90*.

The 90* isn't long enough and doesn't get deep enough into the reg to seal it up properly. It will scrape and score the reg.

To get the straight fitting in, there's an Allen slot inside the fitting (under where the macro goes) and that's how you tighten it in.

yep...exactly. Don't rely on that liquid thread sealer either...3 wraps of teflon and yer done.

wait so the straight fiting will practically go all the way in? so its useless to buy a colored fitting, and ive seen some people with 90's on theres

It depends on whether it's the CP 'Long' or 'Short'...depends on what fitting will work. Go to CPs website and d/l their manual and description pages. There, it will tell you (by "in inches" measurements) what reg you have.

i have a long and im tired of ordering online and my local shop is full of idiots (but they know way more than me) but there still dumb and never have what i need lol

also i just read the manual and it didnt say, ill just go to my shop and try some friggin fittings....
