We have noticed lately a trend of "trollish", "post whoring" and "spamish" type posts, the type of posting that in the past have not been tolerated on this forum. Here, on this forum, S.O.C. (Spyder Online Community, formerly known as KUSA), we have always held ourselves to higher standards than other forums. We have always said that we are a family forum and here to help people from all ages and skill levels. Through the strict management of our forum, we have built a family. It is great that when people come here, they not only get questions answered and problems solved, but they also make friends.

We would like very much for this to continue. As moderators and administrators we are here volunteering our time. None of us get paid or compensated in anyway for what we do here. We don't mind though, we love S.O.C. and were all honored when we were asked to help run the site. We do need help from the other members though. We need you to be conscientious of what you bring to the site. We think that all members have something to offer to our forum and the more members the better.

So lets try to make the site better. Lets try to get back to the high standards we have always held ourselves to. We don't need to post every thought that pops into our head. Forget about post counts, they mean nothing. Help out where you can. Ask for help when you need it. Think and re-read your post before you hit that post button. If you are hesitant about posting something or think, "Eh, I probably shouldn't post this", then don't post it. If you ever have any problems with other members, or even the admins and/or mods, send us (The Mod Squad) a private message. We want to help and although it will never happen, we want everyone to be happy and enjoy our forum.

The forum is going to be more closely monitored. So everyone, including the veterans, should consider this their first warning. We are expecting these changes immediately and aren't going to be coddling everyone through this. We are, however, going to be talking to individuals when we see posts that we feel aren't right for this forum. Try not to look at this as us being bad guys. We are just trying to make the forum better for everyone.

For those of you who don't like reading here is our TL: DR, and not so nice, summary:

Stop with the trollish, post whoring, spam posts! We will be watching closely and if you don't we will let you know :banned:

Yes, as would posting with the intent to harrass...

We follow a definition close to this one.
