OK, as some of u might know i have a lil interest in photography, i love taking pictures of boring things and making them look, well, not boring. I was surfin the interweb last night and stumbled accross this site Thomas Hawks Digital Connection (http://thomashawk.com/2004/07/thomas-hawks-digital-photoblog-click.html). This dudes pictures are amazing, the colors are rich and deep, the composer is great. I love them. I wish I lived in a place with this much character, but i dont!! please tell me im not the only one who thinks that these pictures are suburb!!!

alot of people with talent and they would critique photographs also, plus alot of tips even a homemade macrolens that you could build from a small pair of binoculars, and some mouthwash cap.

Surprisingly, there's alot of talented photographers over on the Nation in the Small Talk Photography forum, and they're a different breed of ST'ers, haha. Civilized actually, and alot of them would be your age too so if I was you I would check out PBN.

my only advice would be to play with the manual setting...you'll get better pics....i don't even use the presets on my camera....whenever i come to a place i would test it out and adjust my aperture, shutter and exposure settings, before i actually start taking pics.
