I need some help guys. I partially stripped upper part of the hole that the feedneck screw goes into. There are three screws that hold it on, two on top and one on the lower left. I am referring to the lower left one. Its the top half of that hole that got stripped. What can I do to fix it ?

You can try getting a tap and re-threading the hole, not sure how good that will work.

You could also fill it with JB Weld, let it sit a couple days so it hardens then you can drill and tap it.

You could put a heli-coil out. This would require drilling the hole out a little more and putting the heli-coil in.

I was thinking of the JB weld ...but since the its the upper part that stripped how do I get the upper part of the JB threads to line up with the lower intact thread.... and whats this Heli-coil ?

With the JB Weld you wouldn't worry about lining up the new threads with the lower threads. You would totally rethread the entire hole.
