First, do you use co2 or compressed air?

If you use compressed air, a new expansion chamber is pointless, just get a regulator.

If you use co2 a new expansion chamber still isn't that great of an upgrade. You are better of getting a regulator. Get a Palmers or a BL Torpedo and you will see much better results.

where are you guys finding the BL and Palmers regs at?

Palmers Regs you can get directly from Palmer's Pursuit (http://www.palmer-pursuit.com/a1/). BL Torpedo regs I would buy used in the BST section here or on PBN.

Sorry about hijacking, but what mods have to be done to use a BL Torpedo on my pilot. If youd rather not jack this thread anymore you can pm me, Thanks!

I believe you'd need a new front block.

You have to change the va, like to an assault block or something with universal threads. The stock Pilot va is a set-screw design and wont take regs. (unless you find one from a fenix maybe- but an aftermarket one would be loads better anyway) Get a va and a reg, you'll be shooting more accurately and if you want to down, the road, you can go LP.

Either a new VA like the other folks said or you could tap the stock one for 1/8npt & get a direct mount palmer.
