I have some questions about a marker set my son and I receaved for Christmas!
We both have the spyder sniper combo pack with the marker designated as the spyder TL-R but we can not seem to find any information on it any where not even at the kingman website. We are wondering why this is ?
Has anybody got any info on this TL-R marker?

Today I was attempting to remove the bolt from the marker to clean and oil it but the retaining screw numbered 1717A on the instuctions would not losin and it broke part of the head of the screw, now it seems that this should not be that tight, so I am wondering now if this is the right way to remove the bolt or not? Seeing how all they give you with the marker is a breadown it makes for a lot of questions.
PLZ help as we are newbs to paintball and this is our first markers,
we have put around 600 rounds at each other in the yard and find this a verry fun hobbie and want to be on the local field next weekend!

For Assembly and Disassembly, I would check here:

If you need anymore help, I'd check that website ( http://www.ottersccustoms.com/ ) first, or just post on here and myself as well as others will be glad to help you. Welcome to the sport and the forums!

that link should help you .. but your gonna need to set aside the small differences... rather than unscrewing the cocking bolt ... (which is on the side for the compact) .. your gonna needa pull it out ..., but other than that everything is the same .. .other than the stock dropforward you have .. and maybe the quick disconnect pin.

With the exception of the VA (part # 28081 on below diagram) and the expansion chamber (part # 28441) the TL-R is exactly the same as the TL-X. The VA and X-Chamber on the TL-R are not universal and you cannot put different regulators or x-chambers on it. In order to do that you have to get a different VA.

TLX Diagram (http://www.kingman.com/section/support/diagrams/spyder_tlx.pdf)

I hope that the diagram helps you out a little bit.

:) wow !
Thanx for all the replies, I wasn't expecting all the help!
Nice forums here all!

Well after my post i went to another site or my boy did , and did I feel stupid! It seems my mechanicle mind got in the way again, it was real simple ,like was said erlyer in this post (Just pop the cocker out) so I used a screw driver for some extra leverage and out it came.

I went to otters and i am looking into doing a trigger job and mayby the polishing thing to see what I can do with it. Has anyone tried these mods?

THANX again for the replies!

I want to put a Palmer Regulator, so I must change de VA.

Which VA should I install?

Where I can buy it?.

Thanks a lot!.

Are there other front block (VA+low pressure chamber) replacements with a 15 degree forward tilt to it that can replace the TL-R's non standard front block /VA/expansion chamber? I've seen the Trinity and checkit front blocks but they seem to come with an LP chamber that's integrated (and frankly quite ugly).

Anybody have suggestions?
