Anybody else pick it up today?


I don't even skate in real life or ever watch it for that matter but this game is really fun and addicting.

Massive open world with no load screens, realistic (no 1080 on to houses and grinding down a phone pole like tony hawk), two joysticks control all the movement and really get you into the game instead of just button mashing, goes rag doll on falls but that could be better, total custom character (build the face features and hair, body type), tons of clothes to pick from (tops, hats, pants, shoes), build your skate board from scratch (board, trucks, wheels)

Overall even if you don't like skating in real life it is still a great game.

^^^that one took about 25 trys to finally hit, which is about the usually on big tricks b/c of the realism of actually being able to land the tricks.

The second 1 is the best.

Woot, online play is working again, and they've got the big air ramp at the xgames. Double woot.

I went pro today and made it to the x games on single player, the big ramp is def. one of the funnest parts of the game.

I made it to Pro last night, but I'm no where near the x-games.

Beat single player.......won't ruin it but I'll just say the ending is well worth it.

I have no idea how you beat it. The films keep getting harder and harder.

I didn't have anything to do:p Was waiting around to hear from carbon fiber guy so I had to keep entertained.


Ya the films got really hard towards the end, you just have to find a good spot to shoot them.

It looks like a great game, but I felt that it would be a waste of money since it would sit on my shelf until at least February. Right now I have college stuff, then on the 25th I have Halo 3 to tide me till november (I'll keep playing it, but not like nonstop)
then mass effect, then I have to catch up on what I missed in december. I'll probably end up playing bioshock, orange box, and if it's out some army of two.
