View Full Version : In the market for new gear...

ok, first, the movers broke my Flex-7 visor, no big, i just have to order a new one from phil before i go play again. second, my 20oz needs to get rehydro'd before...this month! i was looking into getting a hpa tank anyway, so once again, no big deal. third, my hopper crapped out finally (its a ricochet AK that i bought shortly after they first came out, and it was feeding too slow anyway), so its kinda a big deal. and finally, i still havent gotten my psychoballistics drop fixed. the plug where the guage goes is stuck, and it wont come out ( i kinda drilled throught it hoping to be able to pull it out with a dye and tap set, but that didnt work.) so this is what i need:

HPA tank under $100. i was looking into a Pure Energy 72/3000 at AVI for about $70

force feeding hopper thats at least 15 BPS, preferrably under $80

a drop with on/off or a unimount (unless someone has a spare psychoballistics on/off theyre willing to part with)

suggestions? comments? snyde remarks?

You can get a 68/4500 45/4500 for $100 used. I would go that route. And if your field doesn't do 4500, you can get a 3000k tank for about $50 used.

As far as hopper goes, I may be able to sell you a new egg2 for cheap or a v35 Halo. Pm me if interested.

I have a PsycoB drop that is missing the brass valve core that you can have for the cost of the shipping.....

thanks, jimmy. i just used quiksteel (cheap JB Weld) to cover the hole, so if that doesnt hold, i feel better having a replacement. ill send you a pm right away. btw, what part of KY are you in?

well, i dont want to spend more than i have to on a decent tank. the local store is selling crossfire 47/3000s for $80 (with a free fill). i dont see the big difference between the 3000 and 4000s. i usually get all day air anyway, so if i have to refill after every game, the size of the tank is not a big deal.

Surf PBN. You can find a 68/45 for $100 if you look hard enough, and an Egg or a Halo easily is under your $80 price ceiling. If you find one of those cheap enough, you can always browse the Misc BST section there and find a cheap unimount as well. When in doubt, and on a low budget, PBN it! ;)

lol, thanks. needforspeed and vwjimmy squared me away with the hopper and drop, all i'm really deciding on now is the tank.
