I have a 20 OZ Spyder brand CO2 tank. I'm trying to instal and Anti-Syphon Tube into the tank and can't get the valve off. I viced gripped it down and turned using an adjustable wrench. All i'm doing is scratching the valve.

Have any of you guys tryed to instal and Anti-Syphon tube into a Spyder brand tank. If so is there a trick to it?

I just had a really really tight grip in the tank & used an open wrench. Ive heard you can add a little heat but I wouldnt try it.

FYI~ I was able to get the anti-syphon tube in. I heated the tank slightly, (felt warm to touch) clamped the tank down and used my weight to turn it... came off like a charm

how hot did you heat it? because my PMI tanks says that if you heat it past 250 degrees, you need to get it retested.

Not very hot at all i could still touch it and it was just barely warm.

hairdryer is safest way to warm it up
