My how time flies. I can't imagine that it has already been 6 years since that dreaded day. Take time today to reflect and to hug your parents, children, brothers and sisters. The folks that were in that building and the emergency crew that tried to save them all thought that they were going to have time to hug their families and friends and in a blink of an eye they were gone. Lets not let their memory fade with each passing year. God bless.

To be honest... this thread just made me cry. :(

Has anyone seen the movie "World Trade Center" with Nicholas Cage in it? I've never cried harder in a movie.

I remember when it happened... I was in middle school and then all the TV's came on and the principal announced over the loud speakers for us to watch it and have a moment of silence. (This was before the second tower got hit)

There was crying, histeria and idk what else and everyone was upset. Then the second tower got hit and everyone in the entire school was at a dead silence.

I remember going through school the rest of the day wondering if my brother and his gf got out safely/away from it before it fell.

:flag: God bless the people that died and the brave souls who went in to try to save them. God bless those that survived and those that saved them. :flag:

My history teachers mom was on a plane on 9/11 with two of the Hi-Jackers(sp?) from Maine to Boston before they got on the other plane. She showed us the tickets too.

I was in 6th grade. In Ms. Snodgrass' class at 9:00, David Gallagher said I heard two planes hit eachother in New York City. She said wow how awful, and we had class. Little did we know that they flew into the trade centers, killing not hundreds but thousands, produced by terrorists.

I remember that whole timeframe vividly, what teachers were crying, what game I played while waiting for my dad.

Never forget.

I was at work when the announcement began and suddenly the overhead radio shut off. My old employer didn't want us to get distracted and stop working. I didn't have a clue what had happened until lunch time. I remember being glued to the TV for hours.

I was in the 4th grand in Ms. Jeters class all of a sudden ppl starting freaking out say that some planes had crashed into the world trade centers. Looking back I was scared to go out side for a few days cuz we used to live near some air force bases and I was afraid they might be a target.
