the srew in the fore grip that lets air in to the gun ithink its called a regulator screw but iam not sure
any way it all ways gets in the way if i take it out how air would i be wasting oh and if i keep it in what is the proper amount of air

That is the adjustment screw on the regulator. Turning it all the way in will increase your operating pressure to whatever you set it to. Now, since you are using CO2, it will be about 850psi max.

yep, you have to mess with it ... you need to get a good range of ... 290fps .. at w/e psi you would be running at ... which as bigred said should be 850 max.. unless you havn't polished, oiled, or cleaned your gun in a while ...
There's really no exact way to do it .. just do it so you get a good fps

screw turns counter clockwise to bring pressure up when screw is turned all the way in before you hook uo your air
air is on turn counter clockwise tobring screw out if that screw comes out it will not leak
