Alright well I have a really upped Promaster right now and I was offered a VS2 with new reg, front block, feedneck, barrel, and 70$... I am thinking about doing it. For those of you with VS2's, how do they shoot compared to higher end guns and also, are there any after market triggers for them right now? Thanks.

I played a tourney a couple weekends back and mine was keeping up with a teammates pmr and shocker and yes there are aftermarket blade triggers available

Ok but what I mean is like, how much kick, smoothness of operation, efficiency. How do they compare for people who have had other guns.

well it has somewhat more kick than highends because it is a blowback, which can easyily be solved by getting an ACP delrin striker. They shoot very smooth, however the VS series does come lubed so make sure you lube it and you should be fine. I have found it to be pretty efficient with my PMI 68/30 tank...i only had to refill once the whole day, which is good considering my valve spring isnt broken in, but you are getting yours used so the valve spring might be broken in more than mine because the more its broken in the lower you can set your pressure. And it does have a pretty good recharge rate but there is a thread on pbnation that tells you how to make it recharge faster.

Hhope that helped!

Thanks for the help supasnipa! Would after market spyder parts work in VS2's? I thought that they wouldn't since the VS2 is a newer system.

Well the regular ESP frame triggers will not work because they are a little different but I do know that a company makes blade style VS2 triggers. Sorry cant find a link right now.

EDIT:Ok found it here you go....they do have more than this color http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=NYf5fJXQEFj569MbPks51J8ZfejcbxRhNlI=?Pro ductID=aQjAqArbcUgAAAEOiMo0w78d ......I'm am not quite sure if aftermarket parts would fit. What parts do you have in mind

I was just wondering about like the hammer, and the bolt.

08-21-2007, 09:17 AM
hammer? Do you mean strriker if so ACP makes delrin strikers, well about the bolt ACP is the only producer that i know of that makes aftermarket bolts

08-21-2007, 12:10 PM
Is this the striker? And is this a better option then cupping the stock striker?

08-21-2007, 02:29 PM
Yes that is the striker and yes its a good choice. It makes it operate more smoothly because it lessens the weight and by doing so you create less kick and less kick means less movement and less movemant means more accuraccy and thats what we all want

Ok cool. I think I may buy one of those. Do you have any complaints about it?

08-21-2007, 04:23 PM
i personally dont have one but have used them and seen them used. I think it is a very good upgrade and you should invest in that....I think there is an ACP delrin striker and ACP "Low Blow" bolt for sale in the BST ...look there

Ok well I asked Operton and he said he didn't like his that much but anyways I think I'm getting one.
