The topic says it all. I cycle at 240 is that bad?

Not sure what you mean? Cycle? Most spyders will only cycle at about 54 cycles per second...

I think he means his operating pressure. What pressure the marker will cycle at.

I think that may be a little high? Kingman says the marker should be able to cycle at 200 psi so 240 seems slightly high. Even if Kingman is off, it shouldn't be by that much imo.

stock vs2 220psi

240 is fine. i have mine at 260psi

08-15-2007, 08:12 AM
Mine is running at 250psi, but I'm planning on lowering it next week to 220psi.

I operate at around 250psi my gun doesn't work right at 220psi. If I shoot as fast as I can , after a few shots it'll uncock and make the farty noise

VS2 King

yeah if i want to bring up the speed on mine i would have to put my psi up to atleast 280 and it still decocks. the vs2 is a great gun but kingman should have made the reg and asa sep. it sounded like a good idea t the time but it really wasnt.

WTF!!!! You guys can run 240! I can only run like 270 at best...me and a friend both have vs2s and on the internet it says that its suppose to run at 220 and the box says 200 we both tried it at both pressures and sure enough after about 5 shout *FART* It uncocks. So anyways yeah 240 sounds good

Have yall thought of the valve spring not being broke in enough yet to lower the pressure?

08-15-2007, 06:30 PM
I just shot my vs2 again now i can shoot it at 230 walking my trigger at the best. The only problem is that when it drops below 220 uncocks, but then again my tank was out of air. I'll give my results this saturday. Thats when I'm when I'm going paintballing and my tank can be refilled.

Your springs in the guns take a REALLY long time to break in. Plus, the reg also is not the best. After putting about 7 cases through my gun, I am now running at around 230spi. However, when i shoot a long stream of paint, the bolt *sometimes* doesnt cock fully again. It is due to the drop off from the stock regulator, which for me is about 30psi. I just bought a CP reg, adapter, and will soon be buying a good on/off. i have heard with this combo you can safely run around 200spi. The drop off from the stock reg is what is killing all of us. It is a decent reg, but cant compete with aftermarket ones.

I went to my field today my gun was working fine at around 260 psi. At midday had a leak on the reg , but the owner of the field let me use his PMR might be getting one soon now.

Ok I have one question I might buy a cp reg soon. I was wondering what is the problem with having on/off with the cp reg. Isn't 2 regs better than one?

09-05-2007, 08:58 PM
No, the point of getting the CP reg is to have better flow than what the stock provides.

Yea, Now I can work my gun at 220 shooting fast. It took about 10-15 cases...
