Ok, so my 3rd photoshop cs3 trial has run out, and I need something to edit my images in. I REALLY hate gimp, despite how good it may be, the user interface looks like it was designed by a Linux user . I'm not going to buy an "old" version of photoshop because of how dependent I am on the way CS3 works, and I won't buy the newest version until next year when i get a massive student discount. Is there any program I'm overlooking?

:dodgy: it doesn't have all of the macros and special tools i love, hence the reason i won't use older versions.

Kinda like me & trucks. Ill take an older one, like the 4 '70s I have, over a new one hands down. I know the newer ones have more power & better milage but never liked the computers even though I went to college for that & diesel engines.

Ok, back on topic & good luck finding what your looking for.

Take the time to learn GIMP, and you'll be set. It has a learning curve but most of the features are the same as PS.
