If you take a gutted spyder body and put a flashlight in the front of the bottom tube and look through the valve retainment screw hole you can see the hole where air goes from the valve into the bolt. THE HOLE IS TINY! Think of the performance if that hole was bigger! But how to make the hole bigger?

My idea is to drill out the retainment hole and go through the tube and drill out the port then retap the retainment screw hole to use a bigger screw. You can only go as big as the width between the two valve orings but it wild still make a HUGE difference im sure.

no the hole in the body that lets air flow from the valve to the bolt, its too small

you'd have to drill through the valve to. hmmm this makes me think about the performance of my spimmy compared to other timmys.

It will work & the fella I knew a few years back said it had some SICK flow compared to a stock hole. He would just tap the valve screw for 1/8NPT. IIRC he only charged $15-$20 shipped for it. Wish I would have done it cause I dont have acces to a drill press anymore.

you dont really need a lathe, but it would look better that a normal plug w/ jbweld.
