Just got a new toy in the mail. what size orings go in the front two slots on the stock bolt? Anyone know? Thanks!

Don't put those o-rings on. I took them off to extend the life of the detents. They serve no purpose.

really? Ok well nevermind then I guess... And this won't affect how the eigenram operates?

Nope. I'm guessing you bought Doug's Empire2 right?

The only thing that it could possibly effect is blowback, but when I had it, I got no blowback. Plus a force feed hopper would negate that anyways. If you notice with Timmys, when you push the bolt back and forth you get resistance near the front. That is the orings pushing the detents. Thats a whole bunch of unnecessary wear. If it still has the blue hard detents in it, those are about $4 a pair, so its better to make them last as long as possible.

Also, the bolt o-rings are the same size on all Timmys, and should be the same size as Spyder bolt o-rings.

nope didn't get dougs empire2 lol... acquired one from PBN I'm running a Halob with V35 on it anyways so I guess blowback wont be an issue... Hoping to get some air later and running some paint through it and seeing how it does... Definitely feels different from my last 2k5 if I have any more questions I'll post.

will have pics up tonight, I want to take the trigger in it out and put the stock one back in...

08-08-2007, 05:58 PM
What trigger is in it? If its got a bearing, its gonna be way better than stock.

08-08-2007, 06:48 PM
i'm not sure straight alias style trigger, he included the "stock" one that has a bearing... I don't know...

The stocks didn't have a bearing. When you put up pics I'll tell you what you've got.
