So I have heard that on Co2 tanks (Atleast here in Canada) there is a stamp that tells when its expired. Can anyone tell me where it is? Or how to read it to know when my tanks cant get filled at fields anymore? Also does anyone know howlong they get stamped for from when there brand new?

near the valve there will be a bunch of stampings somewhere in there will be two two digit numbers separated by a symbol. those numbers are a date 5 years from that date the tank expires and needs to be retested. This is how it is in the us im assuming Canada laws are similar.

Here in America, if your tank is more than 2 inches round, or 12 inches (I believe) long, it is subject to re-hydro'ing rules. On Co2 tanks, you can't miss it.

Mine was a bit different than ^^^. On mine, it was a silver metal tag right on the tank that said "rehyro by:" and had a date like "08-08-07". If you don't have it, you probably don't need to get it rehydroed.

On HPA tanks, it's a bit different.

There's not much for CO2 tanks though. Take the bottles to your shop/field/airsmith and they can tell you.
