Yeah, so I saw UK post his on CS:S so I desided to post mine...

...yes I do suck. I couldn't get any good footage on this video of the multi kills because the camera battery would die every time I tried to keep it on for a whole match. This was taken from about 20 mins of play.

I'm going to make a longer one when I get the time.

Looks nice, I played socom 2 for a while, then got bored of it. I wasn't terrible at it, but I wasn't that great either.

Yeah... It gets boring after a while. Would be much better if they would stop being stupid and include ALL the maps from ALL the SOCOM's like they promised but didn't produce. Or if they had more of a variety of maps...

i never played anything past socom 2. my favorite maps were the ruins, and that other aztec place in the day time.

lol i remember playing that with you online haha... and yea, it was fun for awhile then it got boring :p. i still say rainbow six 3 ftmfw

The newest addition of SOCOM is fun. The vehicles add a nice twist and the new weapon configurations make gameplay very customised and interesting.

There are over 100 weapon configurations.

...in some situations. Thats why I stopped playing large maps and are only playing 16 person small maps with a 3 min time limit for each round instead of 6. Cut's the camping down alot.

The new one is suppose to go back to the way SOCOM 2 was. Smaller maps, 32 players, fully interactive invironments (yes exploding barrels and the AMAZING DEMO BRIDGES THAT WERE SO FUN TO SQUISH PEOPLE UNDER!!!) and a slightly different, faster paced gameplay.

It is not made by the people who made the origional 4, Zipper Interactive, but by the makers of the Syphon Filter series. (Slant Six)

Here's a decent video or two of what it's going (most likely... it's still pre-alpha and the map (CROSSROADS REBUILD!! WOOT!) is not finished. You can see the mising wall at the end of one of the videos. They rushed a map for E3 to show as example):


It looks good, nonetheless.

video wouldnt load for me. my compys being dumb. looking at the comments made me remember desert glory and frostfire. those were some sweet maps...

I miss Blizzard... We used to have so much fun on top of that hill with shotguns and trying to see who got the most air/ who could get shotgunned off and survive the blast, but commit suicide from the huge fall haha.

wait wait wait... which was frostfire, and which was blizzard? i think i got them backwards.
in which one was the SEAL spawn at the top of the huge hill, and the Ts had to plant a bomb in the ski lodge?

That was Blizzard. Frost fire was the oil rigg that was a M14 + Grenade fest. I loved using the HK5K and owning people that talked alot of crap on that map.

crap, well then blizzard was probably my favorite place. one time i was laying prone on the mountain and got a single headshot off someone running into the middle house with an M4. he was so far away i could barely make out his silhouette .
