Macroline is a great upgrade! Easily replaced, and very affordable. You can also get it to match your gun if you wanted.

You need to macroline fittings and the macroline itself. I don't know the specs on the Pilot 05 ACS, so I don't know if you'll need 90* fittings, straight fittings or one of each. YOu can decide that yourself, I suppose.

I don't necessarily recommend this company, but here's what you're looking for (http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/BrowseCatalog-Start;sid=Y79wlaVURk5wNePiOWuwPa_y66vYXXweK_c=?Cat egoryName=paintball-gas-systems-hoses-and-parts-macroline-kits-and-parts).

I wouldn't recommend it if you're using co2

It should be ok, even with Co2. Macroline is pretty strong anymore, and while blowouts happen, they don't happen that often. If you use anti-syphoned Co2 (as you should anyways) then it should be ok. Plus, like I said, it's much easier to replace.

well in that case go for it
but imo steel braid is a lot better just not as customizable

i don't need any fitting accessories to make it fit in my fore grip???? remember its a stock pilot

You'll need to buy an adapter so it will fit on the expansion chamber and on the asa. I'm not sure where to find the adapter but Spyder doesn't use normal threads so if you buy a macro fitting it won't fit correctly.

Steel braid is the BEST choice in terms of strength and durability, you're absolutely right there.

I have a couple spyder adapters laying around - Not sure if it's Spyder to standard, or standard to spyder though...

mmm i thought all these because i have a leak in mi ASA well in the disconect hose atached to the ASA its a broken o-ring #11 but i live in Costa Rica so i dont know if i can put an ordinary oring or its a specific material type i have to buy

thats why i thought about a macroline

Some spyders do use the standard 1/8 NPT thread on the expansion chamber. But the 90 is a standard to metric conversion. So the braid and ASA are still metric.

If your is too and you want to use Macro, you will need the standard 90 (1/8 to macro) on the expansion chamber and a straight (macro to 1/8") on the ASA, but you will also need and adapter (standard to metric) to screw it in the ASA.

e-paintball.com has a spyder adapter for like 7 bucks. bought one to put on my bushmaster (i put my stock spyder trigger frame on it) ez to install, already has the small o-ring on it and everything. the fore grip is standard 1/8" npt already, but it is a lil loose so u def wanna tape it up when you install it. i out tape on all my fittings as an added precaution.
