PGI is far and away my favorite. After I quit subscribing to all the PB magazines I could afford, PGI was the one I stayed with. Good pictures, interesting articles and good reviews, IMO. After finding numerous spelling errors in PB2X (my second favorite because of the pictures...) I decided to stay with PGI.

Diddo on that. I need to subscribe to them. Their Jungle mag in addition to their reg mag keeps me busy and up to date on the scenario scene.

It's pretty expensive...
$49.95 for 1 year (10 issues)
$94.95 for 2 years (20 issues)

The magazines cost $7.95 in the store. So your saving 30% on cover price and it comes with two magazines. One dedicated to scenario, the other all around paintball.

Only other magazine I'd subscribe to is Paintball2Xtremes. Their photography is outstanding and they have an annual "Phat Photo Pheature" which showes off that incredible photography. (It has inspired me to take paintball photography...)

PB2X is much cheaper.
$4.95 Cover price (each issue)
$14.95 for 6 months (6 issues)
$29.95 for 12 months (12 issues)
$44.95 for 2 years (24 issues)

PB2X is what I would personally subscribe to to save money and get more then twice the issues that Facefull would offer you for a lower price.

facefull is also alot thicker and contains alot more content than most mags. honestly, i never got a subscription, i just went up to 7-11 and bought a copy every once in awhile.

Same... I look at the topics and deside if it's worth my money.

Isn't it printed on better quality paper as well? You know, thicker, with matte instead of gloss?

It's still way too expensive for me, though I look through them at the book stores!

i just broke the tie between APG and PB2X... i read both, but pb2x has too much tourney coverage for my taste and APG has better (and more) articles (non-event related) IMHO.

That is what I love about it. I think the tournament coverage is awesome and I personally thing the photography is better.

For my birthday, I got a 2yr subscription to APG. I have about a years worth right now and in each magazine, I've had useful information. Especially with some issues, I had alot of stories on pumps. Then there was an issue where they broke down the VS3. Pretty useful, IMO.

I have at one point in my life had a subscription to all of the above listed magazines, and by far the most superior is Paintball Games International, it is the most informational, and has the best pictures. It fairly covers play in the United states as well as European, Asian, and other regions. It also covers woods ball if you're into that.

Like I said before, PB2X has THE best pictures. It also has IMO the best tournament coverage, it isn't the best for woodsball bu I love that magazine.

Peterson's 4Wheel & Offroad

Ok, it isnt paintball but the onlyone I get in the mail. Ive picked up a few random mags at Wally-World & thumbed through them & their nothing like what I had back in 2002-2004 before I went to college. I prolly wont get into the mags for a good while (dont wanna get pissed from seeing all those action pics & I dont even play!!).
