Hey guys,

do u have any ideas for a hopper that costs under 50 bucks? It doesnt need to feed over 11 bp/s (or even 10)...I just need a hopper that won't force me to shake my gun after letting loose a few shots (u can imagine how much time i waste doing this)...

thnks,

Take a look in the sales corner, eggs and others from $40 to $50 are in there all the time.

I use a Viewloader Revolution ("Revvie") 12-volt. I love it. Feeds like a charm and I never outshoot it. I am not, however, a big-time finger-walker. I think you could outshoot this hopper with a pilot, but I never have, even using burst mode.

:yeahthat:

You might want to look into the new Viewloader Force hopper. I hear they sell for $30 and I think it would work perfect for what your looking for. You can also looked at used Viewloader Evolution II's and III's (Eggy 2 and 3) which you can find for around the price your looking for. Either hopper would work fine for what you need.

Empire re-loader 2 under 50 brand new, used on e-bay under 30. Sound activated so there's no constant whirring, and it'll feed pretty darn fast.

The VL Force (w/o eyes) is a good choice on a budget. For an 18 bps force feed hopper, $25 is outstanding!!!

If does look kind of big because the profile comes straight dwon instead of tapering. They did this because it is a tray design. Basically that means, you can pull the top off and clean it easier, replace battery, etc...

It also runs constantly, hence the w/o eyes model. You can just turn it off with the switch when you want to be quiet or when not in use. It can be a little annoying , but there is absoulty NO Lag time. It keeps 18 balls in the chute with constant pressure for awesome feed rates. I can run my pilot at 20 bps straight (ramped) with no misses.

To quiet it down a bit, I removed the motor and mounted it in rubber. I also mounted the feed tray in rubber too. It helps, but hopper still has a little whine. Not bad though.

But if you can save up for a Velocity, Halo, etc... Whatever you desire! They are obviously top of the line.

i use a halo backman tsa and with the stock trigger it is great. if you are planning to upgrade to the rocking trigger (like i have) then you want to get a force fed loader like and evo or the vl force like sumone said above me.

Evo's are not force feed loaders.

Why arent they?

because they don't put constant pressure on the ball stack
like a holo b or vlocity does

:yeahthat:

The evo has a paddle that spins to ensure that there are no ball jams and to push balls towards the feed tube, but it doesn't push them down the feed tube.

i have a friend that owns a shop and i asked him the same question and he said a revvy AT LEAST, maybe a halo. i believe him. i'm goin there to get a revvy for my pilot cuz i have a tourney comin up tomorrow! :D. i think a revvy or egg will do fine. the only disadvantage about eggs is that they make a marker back-heavy. that's why i chose a revvy.

well considering that you are getting serious about this sport
I say you buy a Halo B, it will be better in the long run

Yeah, if you are serious about the sport spend a couple extra bucks on a Halo B or VLocity now and you'll be set if you ever decide to buy a higher end marker. You'll save yourself the trouble of buying/selling/trading a new loader that will keep up with a new marker. Personally I'd go with the VLocity.
