VS2 evil barrel kit works. I'm going to my local shop I'll try my barrel on the VS3 post the results later today.

Sorry it was sold.
I can give you a little info on what will not fit a VS3
Custom Products (CP) Probarrel System Kit - Will not fit with the factory lip on the body
Smart Parts Teardrop Barrel - Will not fit with the factory lip on the body
They should both fit a VS2 but I havent checked since I dont have one

would anyone be interested in a small adapter that would extend the barrel threading just enough to go past the lip and allow you to use any barrel/kit without modifying the body? I was thinking of having some made at my local machine shop.

i use a 32degrees 14" carbon fiber barrel modified(shaved metal down) on my VS3 and it is amazing

Python barrel kit w/ stock barrel. No mods to barrel or body plus the benefits of a kit. Works great!

Im pretty sure adapters for barrels kits are already being made, I dont think you would have to go a a machine shop. A lot of online paintball stores have them.

As long as it is standard Spyder threading it will fit the VS2 no problem. The issue would be would it fit the VS3 with the funky body shroud!
