SO i know what happens now. first you're guage will break and never read pressure again. then after you're first shot, the marker will go off like a volcono. Now the question is what made the regulator spike like that on me... :(

BTW, it works again but now i need a new guage

Were you using HPA or CO2? what do you mean it'll go off like a volcano?

air went everywhere and even using the N2 the marker was ice cold. i guess the cup seal gets stuck open and the tank dumpped.

that's what it sounds like. it'll get cold if it vents like taht. you didn't have it cocked or anything? it works fine now though right?

i cocked it, pulled the trigger, the valve opened but would not close. dumped an entire 68 45 in like three seconds.

That happened to me when I tried with Co2 (yea I know I shouldn't, but my hpa tank wasn't fill and I wanted to try it so...). I had time to turn the on/off before damaging something. The following day when I retried with my HPA tank, everything was ok, no problems with the gauge and nothing happened to the reg, so I think I'm a lucky bastard :p

yea you're lucky, i decided to use co2 on my vs2 one day it shot fine after a couple of shots, then the regulator decided to not work anymore and i didnt get any air flow into the gun

Did you actually break the reg, or were you just not using an anti-siphon and your reg froze?

Nah figured it out because it almost happened again. occasionally i will have the marker lose power and while playing i though it decocking and loosing power was because of a low pressure situation. in reality the reg was just sticking. WHen the reg unstuck is when it overpressurized.

It says the marker can handle 200 psi

does anyone know how many a co2 tank is?

Co2 changes with temperature and fill %. anywhere from 200 -1200 psi highly dependent on conditions.

between 700 and 1000 depending on temperature.
