safety jammed?

The safety switch on my Rodeo is stuck on the off position. I have no idea whatsoever why. I set it down for two seconds and when i came back it was stuck on the "on" setting, but i was able to ram it back off.

so yeah, any suggestions about why this is and how to fix it?

Possibly a torn oring? I would suggest tearing the whole thing apart and inspecting everything. If it looks okay (and no little bits fall out) put it back together and see what happens.

needs lube be carefiul on the dissassemble there is a little tiny bb and a spring in there
