Ball breakage

I have been having some trouble with my MR2 breaking balls. It seems that when I try and shoot fast balls will start to break and the elbow with be covered in paint. I then have to remove the ACS bolt and clean that off as well.

I notice that sometimes on the third shot, it will sometimes fire 2 shots at once. The original ball detent that was in the gun has broke and I got a replacement from Spyder. I have already tried a different ball detent in there, but that hasn't made any difference.

I have put a different spring in, but I am not sure if that would cause any problems or if I should try a different spring in there. Right now I have a black spring in there that I am using for a Spyder spring kit. I also have a Halo B loader and am using compressed air with a remote line. I am out of ideas as to what is causing my marker to break balls.

1) ball detent is shot.
2) the ACS Spring hasn't been broken in properly and may be pushed back allowing a 1 1/4 of a ball in the chamber which then gets chopped.
3) old/soft/cheap paint.

i was shooting 2 balls at one time at ion 2007
switched over to single shot
played like that for 10 min. and then went back to burst/auto
no problem then
i can't explain it but it might work for you
