they always weight it w/o barrel and w/o reg.... it'll be 2lbs flat. unless the thing rocks hardcore i'll be aiming for a shocker.

Wrong. Bob Long weighs their guns with everything that comes with them. Timmies have always been weighed with barrel and reg, and the Marqs are weighed with barrel, reg and ASA.

Bob Long always puts out amazing products, and this one will be no different. It'll be 1000x the gun a Shocker is.

does bob ever produce anything that doesnt rock hardcore. except a defiant.

word. I'm not gonna shoot some stacked tube thing unless its got mad looks.

BTW when is bob gonna send regs, asa's, feednecks and barrels in the anno batch... I'm tired of all of his guns being _____ and gloss black schemes.

:Puzzledgaze: Um... does anyone else notice that there is no cutout for the front block? Also look at how the barrel area sits further back then the bottom... ...I really want to see a completed product.

The 4th gen are crap and it looks like these are going back to the older pre 4th era?

That body looks heavy. Seems like they could have taken a little more off too. We'll see though.

HelpDeskHustler

actually that looks like its 1/16" thick... thats about half what most guns have... the ion has about 1/4" on the fire chamber alone. add a body and you could have over 1/2"

Also notice in the lower tube there are no cut outs for barbs.

and helpdeskhustler pointed out that the bottom tube is wider than the top tube.

thats because it uses a manifold... there shouldn't be a need for qev's since it will be hugging the solenoid which vents pressure.

it appears that its more like a RE-GEN where they sota made a new generation based off of both a little without problems of 4th gen. It's not really an evolution of gen 4, but also not a remake of gen3 with new milling. The gun is clearly not as long... I can't tell how much since there is no feedneck and idk how big the threads look in person. also it looks like the LPR could be off of the block and built in like an ego style mount. Ram area seems to be bigger... which is the oppsite of what egos did by making it thinner. Me thinks bobby might have decided to make the ram fatter for the same original weight, but with a shorter design to keep it a bit tighter than gen 3 were.

and maybe he made it have a bigger piston as well? im pretty sure a larger piston helps with either a lower lpr pressure, or efficiency...
