ok so i have an opportunity to buy a bnib ul frame for $120.worth it?cuz i could also either use that money for other upgrades for my pmr like eye covers, feedneck, and backcap.(though i dont see that i need either right away)the stock feedneck is good and the eye covers and backcap dont bother me,they hold up well.i could also go for that new tank iv had my eye on;) .but then again i dont really need it right away either:p .(basically i need your opinion on what you might do...cuz i want new stuff:) )or..i could just use the money on random gear i would like to have...barrel covers,gloves,pads,etc...and save the money for playing costs...

i am also renting a scuba tank this weekend when all my buying will take place.some of my teammates are supposed to be helping me on this but if they dont ill have to wait on buying everything(but i will make a ton filling their tanks:D )...but back to the point,my main concern is is the ul frame worth what you pay for it or just something thats 'cool' to have?

thanks

I personally wouldn't buy it, at the rate it's value is declining you will definetly be seeing cheaper ones that that in the future.

I wouldnt suggest the ul either. I would save up and spend it on other gear.

Its a good deal, if you like the feal on the UL frame. Personally I would go for it. If you happy with your other gear then get it, but if there is something you like better than the UL frame go for that.

I spent 200 for mine - dang it!

It's a good frame, very comfortable. Think about this:

1. Hourglass designed aluminum frame, feels good in my hands at least. Also allows you to tighten or loosen your asa with just an allen wrench from the outside of frame, which is very cool. 80 -100 bucks
2. New dye stickie grips. 20 -30 bucks
3. Aftermarket board. No better or worse than stock, but now you can sell your stock board and recoup a bit of the cost. 100 -150 bucks
4. Awesome trigger - 30 bucks
5. Different style battery harness vs stock POS? PRICELESS
6. Frame hardware - 5 bucks

To me, the argument isn't "Is it worth it?" Going by the prices of all those things that come stock with the frame, it's obviously VERY worth it. No, the question is "Do I need these things to make me happy with the gun?" and "How comfortable is it to me?"

To me, it's worth it because of the extra's you get.

technically I'd be the one buying it and you'd get paid 20 bucks to get it to me (which would cost all of like 3 dollars)

I suppose you mean AFTER removing the UL frame? Cause otherwise you're losing a lot of money!
