Beat me to it, I was going to make a thread. I think this is great, I'm definetly looking forward to Jack Johnson, and wolfmother, I wish I could have been in Australia for the concert, looks insane. I watching it on MSN feed, where and when are RHCP playing?

He was amazing, he preformed in Sydney with a bunch of others, he blew away everyone else. It sucks he never does concerts except the occasional one in Hawaii, he's just to laid back.

Dude he's one of my favorite artists of all time. I have every song he's ever recorded..I mean not all of his live recordings, but all of his studio recordings. I wish I'd have known about it, I'd have definitely watched it.

I surely do. I have In Between Dreams, Brushfire Fairytales, The Curious George Soundtrack, On and On, and Brokedown Melody (Let It Be Sung is my ringtone). I also have his "High Tide or Low Tide" cover with Ben Costa from Carson Daly's show, a version of Madonna's "Holiday" that he sung with G-Love on a New Zealand radio station, "Girl I Wanna Lay You Down" that he sung with ALO, and "Gone, Going" which was on On and On in an acoustic version, but he did another version of it with the Black Eyed Peas.

The high tide low tide cover is with Ben Harper, just to let you know. They have also performed it at Bonaroo and a few other places, one of my favorite Marley covers ever.

Wow impressive, I have all of them but the Curious George. I have to say my overall favorite of his songs, would be Cupid or Banana Pancakes.

Do you have his live albums? he has 4 of them, as well as his covers album.

I just found another CD of his I don't own, Talk of the Town, D you have it? If you do, is it worth getting, according to amazon it only has three recordings. All this talk about Jack Johnson, and not about Live Earth almost makes me want to just start an Official Jack Johnson thread.

What was it?

My favorite songs by him are probably Breakdown or Constellations.

I also loved Jack Johnson's version of Imagine, off the new Darfur CD. Over all CD is worth the buy, and it helps that the profits go to charity.
