macro fittings

I bough some macro fittings a wile ago from a local shop. They look huge! like i mean a lot different from the ones in pics on ebay.

When i screw it into my gun i get about half way there and it is as hard as hel!

Are there different macro fittings or are the all the same size.

When i screw it in how far should i go all the way untill there are no more threds left or untill it is tight?

you dont need to screw it in all the way, im pretty sure mine is only in that far, just put some sealnt on it and make sure it dosent leak. all standard asa adapters accept the same macroline fittings.

yea...toss some Teflon tape on the treads and screw it in about half way, should be good to go!
