The pulse is giving me troubles, I can't open up the back section screw that opens the battery compartment. I think the threading might be stripped, which would be weird on a brand new in box loader.

screws sometimes get loose but don't fall out, unless it's still giving you a lot of resistance when you turn it I would just tap it lightly or gently pull the two pieces apart.

I can't pull the pieces apart because it is what is keeping the battery sliding door closed, and it can't open without the screw removed.

unscrew lightly so that it doesn't rethread or catch on anything, or send it to me, and I'll fix it :D
