View Full Version : Hybrid on/off asa leak...

My hybrid on/off asa (1/4 turn one) kept leaking through the larger pin hole sunday. I broke it down and there is nothing to the internals but some brass and an oring. Oring looks ok so I put it back together and it still leaked. Didn't have any lube on me but will lube it tonight. Any idea what else could cause it to leak?

Could be that dry oring. Lube should help it a bit. Make sure that the connections are tight as that would cause a leak as well.

Dow33 should help. Just put some on the O-ring.

alright, do you put the tank on when the asa is off, and then turn it on? if you do this and get a leak, try turning on the asa before you screw in the tank. i had this problem w/a perfectly fine DOP drop on/off.

My NDZ does that every now and then - a bit of Dow 33 works wonders.

Is Dow 55 ok to use? That's all I have other than Hater sauce which I can't seem to find at the moment!

Thanks for all the help guys!

That will swell it, but since it's not a moving part, I don't see why it would hurt anything. If anything, it may help seal it even more!
