Well i'm thinking of trading my PM6 for an etek, or an '05

I'm kind of leaning towards the '05 cause I hear that it's pretty much like the '06 w/ different frame, milling, board, and reg.

and the etek, well I shot one and fell in love with it so, actually my questions are as much information as possible on both.

Thanks in advance, and yes I have read some information on both.

hmmm i'd personlly look if someone would trade for an 06 borg instead but thats a stretch especially if you don't have a ul frame

imo egos really on look better and feel a little better than other rams but for performance and shooting feel I prefer borgs

Doesn't really answer any part of his question.

I had an 06 Ego and I absolutely loved it. If and when I get to play again I will probably buy another Ego.

The 06 Ego was very much like the 05, different milling, the 06 board has a couple more options/functions. Ego's are very consistent and are very air efficient. My 06 Ego, totally stock, brand new, got about 1800 balls on a 68/4500 fill. That would have only gotten better because it takes about 4-5 cases to break-in an Ego. The nice thing about Egos is out of the box they are awesome. If you were to get an 05 Ego, only thing I would suggest is a new board, but really its not a must.

I don't know much about ETeks.

Well if I did get a 05 the first thing I would up is:

1) 06Frame
2) Probably Virtue, or Tadao Board
3) Reg

1) Waste of money
2) Tadao's Knight Rider looks so gangster
3) Waste of money

Then again I'd probably get a feel for the frame before I make any rash decisions.
I'll look into the "Knight Rider", and see if I like it.

Any info you can give me about either gun would be nice.

1) Agreed
2) Agreed
3) Agreed

The Ego is a $1000 gun brand new, they aren't going to just throw a second rate regulator on it. As for the frame, all you would be accomplishing by changing the frame is a different look. The frame doesn't absolutely nothing for your besides house the board, battery and trigger. I might look into a roller trigger but other than that I'd leave the frame alone.

I believe that are around 2.5 lbs, with barrel, reg and on/off on it.
