View Full Version : Leak

Alright, well I built my brother a Pilot with a mixture of parts. The specs are below. Whenever I air it up and take a couple of shots I can put my ear to the feedneck and I hear a small leak. I have replaced the cupseal and valve pin. The only other thing I can think of is the valve but it looks perfectly fine. I've tried replacing all of the o-rings but I can't seem to get rid of it. Any ideas?

Do you have the valve facing the correct way? Larger opening should be facing toward the *front* of the gun.

Also inspect where the cup seal sits against the valve for damage.

Isn't the bigger hole supposed to be towards the front of the gun. That's how it is shown in the diagram and that's how I have it with my NDZ Valve and it works fine.

Yeah, thats what I meant. My fingers type faster than my brain works.

Try another cup seal as well. I know I've had to change a cup seal a couple times before I got the leak to stop.
