View Full Version : SnapdragonMR

Just thought i would advise MR owners of a new product we are working on. It's a new version of our Snapdragon trigger called the SnapdragonMR.
It is currently in the testing phase but should be released within the next week or so. Some of them have gone to a scenario team in California sponsored by a friend of mine at Kingman and a few others have been passed out to other chosen testers. We are currently awaiting their feedback results before letting them out to the public.
We have had some machining quality concerns in the past on this one but they've finally been ironed out completely. We've actually refused 2 other batches of these so far in the name of quality.
I've had this one in my MR2 since last November and it's a great improvement from the wobbly stock trigger. They are 2 point adjustable and have a magnetic return response paralleled to the SPPS Snapdragon's of the past. They will fit both the MR2 and MR3 Spyder markers. We hope these will win the approval of MR owners.
Thanks for viewing this thread.

Just an idea but I think it'll be great if you guys can design a shroud for the MR series. Especially for the MR1

cool, ive got some questions from my inner noob....
Doesnt the magnet mod need 2 magnets? Wouldnt that require a trigger frame mod or is this already planned out? And will it include the other magnet?

Mine doesn't fit. The spacing for the hole is too far back, the pin hole is too small and I am not really sure of putting the magnet without a solid surface. Take a look at the trigger differences
The area where you would adjust the stock trigger would have to be filed out forward of the trigger about 1/16th.
I have an email out to them and hopefully this can be resolved because the stock trigger really does suck. I may have to find a fractional oversize drill 1/8th is too big and 7/64th is too small for the stock spyder trigger pin. I can do the mods- filing. I just didn't want to.
Will keep you posted. Daniel

Got email from him and I am just going to send the trigger and frame to him. Maybe I just have a weird frame. I just can't wrap my head around it. Lack of sleep may be part of the cause. This way he can fix it and I can try to sleep. I love the look and the feel of the trigger though and I can't wait to get it back (I have to send it Monday). Daniel

I would definatly go with the SnapDragon. SunDragon has great customer service...and I have heard on several occasions that the "Other" guys are somewhat lacking in that department.

He is currently fixing the problem. I apparently have one of the first 300 MR2's that were machined. So they are not the same as all the others. I wasn't crazy (yeah:p ) and so he is going to install it for me. I can't wait to get it back and rocking. His customer service is top notch. Dan :D

Geez....that prbly means that Im going to have the same problem. Whats the serial number on your MR2?
07-01-2007, 02:19 PM
Don't know off of the top of my head as far as the serial number. My trigger guard is not rectangular but has a different shape. Here is pic from the top
Hope this helps. Dan
