ok so, i was about to play yesterday wiht my friend, and i screwed my air in , and all of a sudden it started to leak out the other side of the knob, (i think that that's the bleed valve). i turned the on/off , well .... on and off, repeatedly, and it still leaked. is there any way to fix this besides taking apart the asa? or for that matter, what is the problem

chances are, the o-ring has been damaged. U WILL hav to take apart the asa to change it but its not too hard.
1st, remove the c-clip on the other side of the on/ off valve. Then, unscrew the on/off knob and, chances are, it'll b the black o-ring u'll hav to change. U shld hav 1 in ur spares kit. Lube the o-ring and place in the new one. That shld be it. In future, don't unscrew the on/off to off all the way as this pinches the o-ring hence causing the leak. Also, dont screw it to "on" all the way either. Leave about a quarter turn. BTW, u shld go down to ur local hardware store and purchase som more of those o-rings cause it mite happen quite frequently wen shooting at high rates of fire. why? coz even tho ur using air, releasing that much pressure at high rates drastically cools the asa causing the o-ring to expand and therefore "loosen" its "hold". Basically, this can happen quite often, or not at all, just make sure u get som spares and put some oil in the asa before every game and u shld be fine. hope this helps

thanks so much for the detailed info, ill try this a little later tonite, and see if it works.
What are the specs to the o-ring that you can buy at the hardware store? Also, I have not actually taken apart the on/off knob before, but I remember seeing in the manual that the knob has two o-rings. Are both o-rings the same? Or are you referring to the o-ring farthest (opposite) to the knob itself since that seems to be where I've seen the knobs leaking from the most.

Em...wel im not sure of the exact diameter's of the o-rings but i've just had a look and they are both the same, i think :S, except in colour. The one closest to the knob is white and the one farthest away is black. Above, I am referring to the o-ring furthest away from the knob; the black one. This o-ring seems to be the one that tears when people have leaks becoz of unscrewing the on/off "off" too much or turning it "on" too much. What i did when i went to the hardware store was i just took my spares kit with me aswell as the black o-ring that had a leak and just measured by eye. Soz bout not being able to give u the specs but u shld be able to find the correct size with ease.
