Few quick questions...
- to change the pressure in the reg the screw on the bottom of the reg is twisted in which direction for which result? e.g. screw out for pressure up or down?
- Will it run on a spyder that runs on pressures that are relitivley the same stock (800 psi).

thanks for any help.

screw out for pressure down.

Not sure on its max pressure output.

on my ergo you screw it IN to decrease the pressure. i'm pretty sure the cocker stock reg is also like that. IN to go down, OUT to go up

Your Spyder should be able to run off a 'Cocker reg. The pressure can be lowered, though. Otherwise, there'd be no point to having a regulator in the first place. ;) I believe that their max output is somewhere near 600psi, which is about right for a Spyder. I'd get a spring kit to complement it to be able to run lower pressures (higher efficiency).
