Well, as some of you core members know, I was looking at an internship this summer. I would have it through CCOC, the place where I go to Vocational School for Carpentry, for up to 6 months. Today was my interview and although I was 5 minutes late (team held me up on the project I'm working as foreman of... damn *** first year nubes....), and him only saying 3 different things to me....

 :yay: :yay: I GOT THE INTERNSHIP! :yay: :yay: :wiggle: :D

Thanks guys! I'm really, really excited about this and can't wait to get started. All I need to do for this job is to fill out all the forms (I hate those), and I might need to pick up a work truck soon... Heh. Darn, just HAVE to buy a big ass truck for "work." ;)

Thanks guys, it means a lot to me!

Mike, I was getting really cocky for a bit there, and then I heard that the other candidate from my class was a close friend of mine in there. I had taught him pretty much everything that a basic Carpenter would ever need to know, which is more than the class teaches in and of itself. It was intimidating to me knowing that one of my pupils was going to be going up against me for a job. He is an intuitive student and a very good talker, so I wasn't sure if they'd overlook my quality for his smoother talking. Turns out we both got it because the candidates from the morning class (CCOC has an AM and a PM class) were total dips, but I didn't know that until I got back from my interview.

Vike, the Shocker, a plane ticket, and the materials and it's yours.

and on getting Mike to post! ;)
Mike's not hard to get to post for me, Otter is the big challenge. Scrappy too. ;)
