Quick question.....I have a spydr shutter with the rocking trigger 2.0, ricochet ak hopper, delrin ACS bolt and runn 20oz CO2....I am looking at getting a new barrel (smart parts linear) but I am not sure if I should get the 14" or the 16"

Any help would be great thanks

Get the 14" unless you are a woodsball player and are a sniper. 14 will do just as good for you based of playing, and wont waste as much gas

I personally like a 12" barrel but if you're playing woodsball 14" is great. 14" is really fine for anything but between the two its really personal preferance. Just don't go any longer or any shorter.

Definatly 14... anything longer just increases the amount of air per shot without conveying any serious bonus to accuracy.

Unless you really want to look like a sniper, a 16in isnt any better than a 14in

I play speedball and I have a 16 inch and I don't feel any less shots or anything... It makes the gen dead on accurite

Everything you ever wanted to know about barrels but were afraid to ask:
http://www.ottersccustoms.com/barrels.html

There's a section in there specifically about length...
