Well, i finally got my parts, and today i made the pump arm for it. It's a victor 2 with a modded v/a, ndz valve, jbwelded pin (i need to redo it, i shaved off to much jbweld) a stock bolt, and a modified hammer. it runs on a 3.5 catalina tank. I made a crappy video, but i think it's ok. a bit small, but it shows the important bits

and now for my crappy video. when i said it recocks after each shot, i ment to say, you recock after each shot. i know it's crappy, i used a camera to take the video. it's my dad's and i dunno how to change the video quality. i'll use a real video camera when i get everything fixed. that won't be for a few weeks though, since i'm moving to arizona on thursday

since it's now a pump, you should cut the trigger and make it a single. having 3 fingers holding the frame makes it much easier to handle. heres how i did mine

hm. How did you do that? did you just cut it and use epoxy like jbweld to put it together?

I am working on a pump conversion as well. Could you explain either here or in PM's how this mod functions? Its really early and I cant quite wrap my head around it. I like the use of the PVC instead of the standard cocking rod. Unfortunately for me I have to use a rod since I laid mine into a rifle stock. Very nice all around and I cant wait to see some paint through it.

ok thanks

boogieman: The mod works like this
The slot in the striker allows the bolt to move back to cock the gun, then move fully in the forwards position without hitting the striker. the pin needs to somehow stop the flow of gasses from making the striker blowback through the use of a t-1 pin, or a good coating of jbweld (mine isn't perfect yet, so it sputters) the bolt i used is a stock imagine vision cocking bolt (with the 3 holes) i slightly enlarged the center of the 3 to fit the screw i used. i cut the pvc pipe to fit around the body and drilled a hole in the end to put the scrwe all the way through it. i have 5 nuts on it, 2 on each side of the bolt, and 1 on the outside. none of the screws were tightend any more then by hand (i found that if they were, the pump arm would become stiff and loose it's smoothness) instead i used red loctite on it. the way it's made, if you take off the barrel and detent, the pump arm snaps up, and you can pull the bolt back and out without taking off the pump arm

haha, i tink it's cause yours was a pop can and a coathanger XP it was still really cool. i'm moving tommorow. my dad's shipping my stuff via ups ground on friday. hopefully he'll ship everything so i can get my pb gear setup, and make new pump arms for my gun (hopefully a nice clean looking one, that doesn't look like crap) i suppose if i can get good enough at making the pumparms, and there's enough intrest, i might offer a service for it. as long as you supplied the parts, i could do it for cheap. i said MIGHT though. i'm not very confident in my metal work or anything yet.

Ahhh, ok. I see what you are doing now. I am going to let the striker recock with gas and just have the bolt move independantly to load balls.

*Sigh* I always miss the good threads for a few days...

Looks great. I might have to pick up a broken spyder on ebay or something to try it with :p
